This song is a high-energy push through its length, bringing in nearly every musical cliché that made the rounds during the '80s. It builds up well, moving along right from the start. The whole of it is balanced, with the synth-strings where they belong - in the background! The mix of constant motion in the lower regions with a sweeping melody line makes for an experience of contrasts that works incredibly well. Not a single complaint on this end. The authors finally show how to use a sweep sample properly, something I'm glad to see! Not much stereo work, but enough to keep the stereo channels from being muddied. The samples have been taken with a great deal of care, and the authors know how to use them to their greatest potential. A flawless piece, and a must-have if you enjoy the genre.
