This song sounds good... There's not much substance to it, but it sounds good. It's the same four-chord progression over and over, just with different patterns of instruments laid across it, but it sounds good. It gets repetitive very quickly, doubling across nearly every melody, but it sounds good. Somehow, despite all of the flaws and pitfalls it falls into, it sounds good. The piano samples make for a gorgeous melody, over electric bass and synth-strings. We've all heard the formula before... But it Sounds Good. There's enough technical work done here to keep it sounding good. The instruments are handled masterfully, with panning and volume envelopes set to keep them dynamic, and all tuned and normalized well. The channels are separated far enough apart, stereo-wise, to keep them from becoming muddied. However, the panbrello is set to Overkill level, and hooked onto nearly every part. Still, yes, you guessed it, this piece Sounds Good. The author mentions that a longer, better version might be in the coming... If it cleans up the music and adds to it, without taking away its appeal as it stands, this could very well be a mod to look out for.
