- Reality Check - By - Nomad - 2003 - 2004 This is a chill out tune made during the summer of 2003. The chord progression is rather repetetive but then as it's meant to be relaxing, that shouldn't be so bad. This is a just a beta. In the final version all the vocals should be added. This long song sounds like it belongs on a Ibiza chillout cd. It builds up very slowly, and keeps progressing very subtly. Although it is more than 16 minutes long, it keeps interesting throughout.
There are some cool loungy vocal samples, nice drum sounds that change during the whole song, some excellent solos (trumpet, flute). It also makes use of nice stereo effects, the synths and sound effects shift from left to right.
It really doesn't sound like a mod file, it just sounds like it is one of my lounge CD's, which is good!
