Funk it! Super song, great composition - clear samples - great drums! I only say hooray!

Since when has reed not created a neat track, especially in his uhm... favourite genre? This is a great bit of funk piano music and of course you should download it. As a compo piece this is great, and aparently it's a cut down of the original which was cut down for the the compo rules. Oh well. Go grab anyway :)

Great funk tune. The instruments are very high quality and very well tracked. The guitars and bass sound awesome! The piano blends right in with the rest. DOWNLOAD NOW!

Oh yes! reed strikes again. The song starts with a nicely sampled picked guitar, bass, percussion and electric guitar slides lift it up; at a point the piano sticks its nose into the whole thing and converts the tune to jazz, while strings keep shyly in the background. This is a tune that made me lift my eyebrows and move my head to the rhythm. The tune description in the sample text can only be called an understatement. Nothing to complain about here. Mostly 16bit samples, instrument function use, volumes just in place.

duration: 3:00

this oughtta be my
funkibution to the
asm2k multich compo.

this is actually a
shortened version of
the tune, the original
version's duration was
3:40 so i had to cut
the extra 40 secs out.
which sucks ass.

contact me right now:

(don't be surprised if
theres a new url soon)

btw, this tune is very
lo-fi, as i'm still
looking for that funky
feeling. while i'm
doing that, the sample
quality is a minor
issue :-)
