This song contains some language that might offend some one. But the song is very good, at least if you are into acid music. This is a very good example of that style, with great acid synths and a good drumbeat. The "Eh Yeah" sample could have been removed, because it doesn't fit in the song in anyway. Otherwise the samples are good, and the song doesn't have any tuning errors. A must download for an acid fan!

Here is a total style change by N-Joy. It is always positive that you can leave your usual style out and experiment new sounds and learn more of the great form of art known as composing music... Well, to the point now. The song is very nice, a bit repetitive but not too much. It has a nice drumbeat going on, and it would fit very well for a party or just for background listening while surfing the Internet. Very good samples here and the song is varied enough, and no big errors in the composing. A succesful style change for N-Joy.

Again great work by N-Joy, for jumping to the trance style. It must of been a job to make a trance mix from a breakbeat song with no clear melody. Well, N-Joy has made a fine job here, having good vocals that fit the beat and cool bass lines, and overall great trancey melodies. Yes, the vocal samples are good and fitted well to the rest of the song and also the other samples are great. Not too repetitive and the song manages to create you excitement for the explosion with the deep low toned bass.

There is also a live remix of this tune here, and I recommend that version. The leading strings aren't so good in this song, but the bass synth has some nice melodies sometimes. Also the hi-string that is left looped in one part of the song for a while is very awful sounding. The drum beat is good. The song gets some life in itself at 2:20 when there comes in a new lead melody, but it lasts for a too short time. Samples are pretty good, and N-Joy has again made technically a good song. The repetition was the bad thing here, like it is in many other songs through the net. A pretty average dance tune.

Same song as Sunrise, but now with some live feeling in it, with Scooter-like yelling to the crowd and a screaming crowd. Also drumming has experienced some new kettle-like drums, and now N-Joy has created more excitement gathering while listening the song. This is musically slightly better than the original, with the live feeling and all, but technically it's kind of same as the original Sunrise.

Again a dance song by N-Joy. This song manages to be funny to listen to sometimes, and it has a good, fast beat for my taste. Also the drum beat is a bit different to the usual techno drumming. Some very nice samples, but the flute sample isn't so good. The start is very powerful, and nice to listen to. Sometimes the samples don't fit in with each others and the drums go off beat. Not the same quality as the other songs I've reviewed by N-Joy so far.

A pretty dark sounding house tune and quite good when it gets the pace going. Only problem is the slight repetition, which makes you bored of the song. This is a pretty average song. Not too good, but not too bad either. Samples are very good-quality. Too much repetition to make this song a definite download. Ofcourse if you are in to House/Dance usually, or you like N-Joy's other songs, why not this?

A very typical dance song here. This is above average of the usual tracked songs, and it is sometimes very good, but most of the time it is only horrible robot sounds, which don't fit to my ears so well. Very good samples and the song is technically flawless. N-Joy must have been tracking for a while, because he knows all the special tricks and treats in the dance genre. Musically this song isn't as good as technically, because of those robotic samples that I don't like at all.

A remix from Kosmos's UT Hymn, and I think that this tops the original one (Notice: I didn't really like the original song). Some strings go pretty weird sometimes but it's very good overall, though it's very short. The samples were pretty bad, especially the lead strings (Though they were taken from the original UT Hymn) Otherwise the song was technically good and Mustang Man has done a good remixing job with the original song.

Already the beginning of the song promises you nothing special, and that's how it goes here. Some good ideas for bassline and lead melody, but they weren't made so well in the end, and sometimes it actually sounds good. Samples are pretty poor for an .XM. The vocal sample is pretty bad and the rest of them are also pain for ears. If you want to find something positive, it's the snare drumming which is pretty different from the usual techno/rave style.

Nino is one of the true masters of tracking scene, and it's a shame that he isn't known as well as some other of those masters. Nino's speciality is the great arrangementing and wonderful string sampling. This song isn't the typical orchestral/soundtrack sound of Nino, more of a dance track. But what kind of a dance track! Ofcourse there are the Nino-style great arrangements and good lead melodies, and the song isn't fiddling with the most common problem : repetition. It's 7 minutes long, but it never gets too boring. Samples are great, everything is great. Nino is great! Download this tune or you will regret it. A change to the typical euro-dance sounds that are so well known in the scene. A plus for Nino for jumping away from the usual kind of tunes that he makes nowadays to a dance tune. (Like back in Mists Of Bourbon Streets, eh? ;) ).

This is a very unusual music style in tracking, but when it's done, it's usually done with care and skill. So is this one. I'm not much of a fan of this style, but you can't resist the great piano melodies and the awesome bass line. Song sounds so great and flawless. It has a real live feeling to it with the crowd sounds, and it really sounds like a real band would play it. Incredible work! Samples are top notch.

This is a very professional sounding d'n'b track with great beat, good basslines and nice vocals. The song is divided to three parts. It is pretty long, but it goes very smoothly and you can listen to it all the time. I don't like all d'n'b tunes, but this one got me going. Great samples and wonderful string arrangements. Lots of variation for a drum & bass tune. What else can you ask. The composer has made a good balanced song. You wouldn't be amazed if this would come from the radio instead of your tracker.

I'm not so good at classifying this kind of music. It start's out pretty funky with a sax, but then it moves to a faster pop-kind of a mood. But this song has great sax solos. The samples are pretty average quality, but the way that they are used is great. This is a fun tune to listen and if you're more of a fun at this style than I am, go ahead and get it.

Gronda has samples a riff from some other song, but it doesn't save the song from too much repetition. The first lead is repeated for the first three minutes, and then comes in another melody wich is repeated for a while. Way too repetitive for me. The song is technically very good. No flaws in tuning and the samples are wery clear. The repetition ruined the song from being something better.

Nice playing around with guitar added with a good vangelis-like synth and some kettle percussion. That's a pretty nice combination, and this song is a real treat to listeners ears. Well, I personally would have wanted some drumming and maybe more length to the song... All the samples are clear and play in tune. The composers seem to know what they are doing, atleast when you listen to the great guitar riffs that make you want to grab to any guitar nearby and imitate the melody.

The song start's pretty cheesy, but it's not so bad after you listen to it for a while. It get's some very cool melodies and after a while it really makes you want to listen to it more and more, but then it ends too suddenly. The samples are pretty horrible, but the melodie get's great after you listen to it. Wow, never heard a song from Icicle before, but after this, I just have to get some more of his songs! This is just great dance music, not too repetitive and with great arrangements. The drumming could have been a bit stronger and more breakbeat like, but now it's just pretty good. The song keeps a good pace for the three minutes that it lasts. Samples are of hi-quality and they are all tuned. You can see that here we have a very experienced tracker.

I think that this is a remix from Scooter's "No Fate", which is a pretty good tune, infact. Atleast the synths sounded a bit like the ones in Scooter's song. But this is nothing like Scooter. The song is very repetitive, and the instrument's are off beat. Some samples are untuned and some are just bad. This song is not good at all...I'm sorry

Ofcourse, first I have to apologize for one thing. When I reviewed the Skaven song "Night Of The Cats" I did complain about how "Skaven had put an empty pattern sometimes between the music patterns" but I noticed that it was just one of his techniques that didn't quite work in FT2, which I used to listen to it. Well, enough about, back to this. This is again a hi-quality tune from Skaven, with again great synth melodies and all. I just have to envy, how he does it. I don't like the start so much, but when it get's going, then there's no stopping. This would fit great for some futuristic game or something like that. I just have to wonder how Skaven does these things with only 12 channels. There are also some nice effects in the strings, used very well. You can see why Skaven is one of the best known composers in the scene, and he deserves it.

Well, to start this isn't such a typical dance song, it goes pretty dark with some robotic sounds. The drumming is nice, Natasha has always had a style of her own to do the drumming, and I like it. I missed some clear lead melody. The song is not too repetitive and it keeps the good pace for the whole duration of the song (6:04). Don't know if Natasha has made the vocals but they are used pretty nicely and repeated in the right amount. Samples were good, and I've propably never heard them before.

A stunning remix of the good old Prodigy song. Though this was made '94, it sounds still pretty fresh with some cool acids that composer has added to the song. The start where there are those cool "badinst" samples is just great! The one thing that bothered was the warpvoice sample which annoyed me a lot. Fantastic selection of samples for such an old mod. Only minus was that warp voice. The tempo is changed nicely and there are no timing errors in the samples that are recorded from the original tune. So overall, a great remix of a great tune. Get it!!

This is a remix of the Prodigys great tune "No Good - Start The Dance". Dj Tume has made some nice variations to those legendary lead synths, and it sounds nice. The backward edition in the beatloop at start isn't that good, but the strings bring a bit life to the song. The crash sample isn't too good, but the rest of the samples are usual hi-quality. But if you must have a No Good remix, take the one above this song, it's much better, though this isn't bad.

This is very interesting piece of music. It has some cool goa-styled sweeps and great basslines. This is in many way a pretty unique track, and I really enjoyed listening to it, though some of the melodies were pretty dull, but when it kicked, it kicked hard and high. What this song loses in the dull string melodies and average samples, it gains from the originality of the song. I have never heard a tune quit like this, but this stays on my hard drive, that's sure.

Soundtest admits that this is his first tracked song. The song starts very ambient like, but the beginning is lasts too long. After a minute there comes a bit excitement with the drums, but the drumming is pretty weak, and the bass guitar is not tuned. It is also too repetitive, see the technical rating for proof. Hey, it repeated one pattern for ten times in a row!! That's about all I need to tell... But that is very common in newbie songs. The composer should just keep composing and looking how other people track and maybe read some tutors of tracking (yes, Zen Of Tracking, again...). Well, atleast this is better than my first songs ;)

A pretty soft drum & bass tune here, because it isn't so aggressive and fast as usual d'n'b songs. The song itself has a good beat but it is very dull. It is the same beat with a little variation, and some vocals which aren't so special, and do they something about Notre Dame in the vocals, not I guess... Weird title. The song was made very well, and the samples were just great. Marki really handled the drum beat, but the repetition of the track was a big minus here. I'm not myself a great d'n'b fan, so maybe some of you who like it could enjoy this. But the beat could have been more faster.

I bet that this is one of EmilEvil's first songs. Atleast it's pretty typical example. Very repetitive, and samples aren't tuned. The lead sample (or I don't if it's a lead or not) is just some bleeping and very much mis-tuned (is that an english word? ;) ). Bassline is pretty nice but too repetitive. But there were some good ideas in the song. It had some trance-a-like samples in the end which were nice. Samples? Well some good, some bad. The most annoying thing in the song was the bleep sample which propably was the lead. It should have been left out from the whole song. The beat was typical bass-hat beat, but it fit the song pretty well.

A remix from a tune by Dj Groove (Never heard the original). The tune introduces you a nice and catchy melody in the beginning of the song, and then it comes repeated for almost the entire song. Ofcourse this is one of the main ideas in house, but the song could've had more variation. The string melody that came in at about 2:30, wasn't as good as the main melody and it seemed like it went a bit off beat, but that was nothing big. After 4 minutes it drops the speed and starts to play half the speed of the beginning of the song, which just made the song more dull. Dj Tonik could have just ended the song at that point. This song is still a pretty good house tune, even noticing its long length (6:44). No big flaws here, and good selection of samples. Some strings were pretty average, but not a big deal here. Anyway, Dj Tonik seems to be a pretty routined house composer, because the beat was very good overall, and the piano that filled the lead pretty nicely.

The song starts out with an awful kling synth, but then it goes pretty nicely with a good pad melody, though the song gets pretty strange sometimes. It has some very nice melodies, and it was a pleasure to listen to the good parts of the song. Yeah, you know the samples in 4-chn mods, so you won't be surprised to tell you that these samples are heard so many times, and they aren't even so good. Technically this mod is very well done, with no mistakes. Sometimes the breaks in the beat (hihats, toms) are too loud.

Ok, here's a music style that I really don't understand. And the song managed to do it very poorly. Snare and crash samples were put to some places very weirdly, and it seemed that they were put there just for the fun of it. The song was also very unclear and too short. The crash sample was very bad, and it was put to too many wrong places. Guitar riffs were kind of ok, but they were too unclear in the song, when there played two riffs at the same time. Very nice arrangements and a good bassline, but too much repetition! And i'm not such a fan for ambient tunes, I need a good beat and lots of melodies to like a song. So if you are in to the style, you might like it. Technically very good made and a nice tune to listen for a while, but for me, a hopeless technofreak it gets a bit too boring. If there is someone who doesn't know this song, it must be a miracle. Propably the best known dance tune from early '90s from the band called 2 Unlimited. The remix is pretty much same like the original version, so if you like it, get it, if you don't then... There were some strange solutions by Beathoven in the song. The bassdrum hit too loud sometimes and sometimes the drumbeat sounded like it's off tempo. I have some other songs by Beathoven, and I know that he's a good tracker but this song isn't his best. Samples are usual 4-chn MOD quality. The tune was made with care, though.

There is one thing to complain. This is way too short. Ofcourse it plays looped, but that gives you just a bad taste. The lead sample wasn't so good, but it goes well with the rest of the song. And they sounded better than the song itself... Here comes the biggest mistake of the song. The samples. They were all horrible. Yes, horrible. It also has a great heavy guitar in it, which just adds the songs roughness and makes it even cooler. A definite download! Great music fitted in to 4-channels... how do they do it? The samples aren't so marvelous, but they do their job. This is a very good tune that really makes you want to listen to it again and again. It never gets too repetitive and that's a thing that nowadays some composers (like me) should take a lesson of.
