Started to create music with SoundTracker back when it was new on my friends AMIGA. But it wasn't until 1993 that I could start to create my own music on a Macintosh with a tracker of what's name I don't remember. It was a demo version, downloaded from a swedish BBS, but I could open a track and start with it and complete a song. Wasn't the best solution but that doesn't matter anyway.
A few years later I bought an old IBM computer and a few months later I installed a soundcard, a SOUNDBLASTER 16 if I recall correctly. By the time a friend showed me FastTracker 2.03, and ever since then I've stuck to FastTracker clones with a few trips to other trackers such as ImpulseTracker.
Back in 1999 I discovered MadTracker and Buzz, and I've stuck to them since them as my main trackers. What needs to be told is that I bought some decent studio softwares back in 2001 but I've allways prefered the clean and simple sounds from a wellproduced chiptune played through 4 channels on an old AMIGA 500.
