The unforgetable "final"
Hidden Palace Zone...
Nothing more than a few
rings, a Tails 1-up
box, and some glitchy
bridges. However, Mr.
Nakamura of Dreams Come
True made a final Hidden
Palace Zone piece of
music, regardless of the
fact that the actual
zone was not going to be
used.(He probably didn't
know this at the time,
though.)
From what the BETA seems
to indicate, the actual
original level might
have been playable by
Tails only, or something
to that extent, like
Tails was the original
Master Emerald guardian.
(As opposed to Knuckles
the Echidna.)
I guess we'll never
know. Unless someone
can get their hands on
copies of everything
between Sonic 2 BETA
and Sonic 2 Final...
