Did you know? I didn't know how to spell "crystalline," back in 2002.
That aside, I think I was going for a kind of "mystical" ambiance, with this track, because it was supposed to be a less-action-oriented stage than most others. Heavy inspiration from the "Hidden Palace Zone" track of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, though.
