Woouhou, depuis un bon moment je rêve de pouvoir réaliser un album CD, et plus des K7 de modules… voilà que le projet devient tout à fait envisageable grâce au super nouvel ordinateur de mon ami Vivien Vanoirbeek, équipé d’un graveur CD SCSI ! Moi le Rambo du module, je vais enfin pouvoir avoir mon album CD Cyborg Jeff !!
Bon, ce premier album, Divagation demandera d’encoder sur mon disque dur les modules choisis en fichier .WAV Stéréo, un premier travail sera donc à faire, intégrer de la stéréo dans ceux-ci, ce qui explique que vous pourrez trouver en fin de module une ligne : Stéréo Version Mix 1,2,… une fois devenu fichiers WAV, il me faut alors démonter mon disque dur, remplis à rabord (j’avais même dû désinstaller Windows 3.11 et F1GP2 pour avoir suffisamment de place pour en copier le contenu sur le disque dur de Vivien. Impossible de se contenter de graver depuis mon disque… ce dernier étant un simple disque IDE, à l’époque, pour prévenir des nombreux plantages de gravure, l’utilisation de périphérique SCSI est nécessaire… Malheureusement, le disque dur de mon Vi ne fait que 650mo, et avec Windows 95 installé, je me vois donc dans l’obligation de perdre en route quelques titres initialement sélectionnés…. Gravé sur un CD-Rom 74min tout doré, le premier album de Cyborg Jeff était né !
Et un petit coucou à Tbob, Delphine Jacqmard, JedD, Parmy, Broz et Pierrick Hansen.
Bien des années plus tard, en écoutant mon vieux CD Club System 3, je me suis rendu compte que la musique de ce titre ressemblait assez bien à un titre de cette compilation Mix : Ayla – Ayla… Comme quoi on ne le fait pas toujours exprès !
Wouw, a long time ago i hoped realising a CD Album and no more audio-tape compilations. The project would be possible since my neightboors and friend Vivien Vanoirbeek received is brand new computer with a CD-Rom Burner SCSI.
This first album : Divagation, need me a lot of work, first as i should render the selectionned track to Stereo WAV files, i should add stereo aspect to all that modules, that why you could find a line : STEREO VERSION MIX. Then i should remove my Windows 3.11 and Formula One GP2 to have enough place on my Hard Drive and brought it many times to transfer the datas. My 200mo IDE one could not be used in the SCSI architecture. Anyway my friend have a 650mo hard drive, that means i should forget some tracks and burns a smaller album… on great gold CD-Rom… the first Cyborg Jeff’s album was born !
Few years later, listening to the mixed compilation Club System 3 i recognised a song with a similar melody than this one, Ayla – Ayla… I was probably influenced by that when i wrote this one ! - cyborg jeff
