Now here's something
I should have thought
of before releasing
part I:
The storyline!!!!
Pattern 1:
The Tournament begins.
Arthur arrives in the
company of his
halfbrother, Sir Kay.
Pattern 14:
He discovers that he
has forgotten Kay's
sword at the inn.
Angrily Kay tells him
to go back and get it.
Pattern 20:
Arthur runs through
the crowded streets of
London, until...
Pattern 30:
...he reaches the inn,
but discovers that
everyone has left for
the tournament and
locked the house, with
Sir Kay's sword inside!
Young Arthur is in big
trouble.
Suddenly he sees a
sword resting in a
great rock, in the
graveyard not far from
the in.
Arthur jumps over the
graveyard wall, and...
Pattern 32:
...pulls out the sword!
Pattern 41:
When the knights at the
tournament finds out
that Arthur has pulled
out the sword, they
celebrate him as their
new king!

This song sounds like something out of a professionally done Arthurian movie (as does the rest of Nighbeat's series). The whole tone of the song is happy-go-lucky yet it manages to change moods to tell a story, which is a very cool and very novel idea for a song. Musically Sword in the Stone constantly changes melodies while maintaing a theme. Even if you don't like orchestral music this is well worth downloading. For its dated technology this song actually sounds quite professional and clean. The samples are pretty good, as far as 8kHz, 8-bit samples go, although they do sound muted at times. There was also a sample loop at the beginning that was annoying, but it was only for a few seconds. Overall very professional-sounding.
