Thanks for the quick reply.Doesn't look like an easy task. Some people seem to be gone for more than 8years..

This is the new downside of draconian copyright. Someone wanders away, aka likely doesn't care, but you become a Terrorist if you copy something now.

Thread for misc posts on this topic.

I have some copies that are several years old by this point after going through 4 comps.

I just found a copy of what was apparently U.F.O.'s tune from 1996 "All we do is rave".
te-allwe.it

It looks gone from the main archive, but I only tonight actually looked it up to verify it. : )

Look what I made! / Re: Ambient/Orchestral (Youtube)

It's a complicated piece. It has some sections that intersperse the sadness, perhaps like a sick patient partially recovering.

Re the dance track, it seems like it has several "movements" which is a bit different from what I look for in a piece.

I just drilled through the entire first season of the DVD for the TV show Pretender. In it, Jarod inserts imself brilliantly into some new profession.

This piece reminds me of the way he crafts a beautiful piece of revenge on some greedy bastard, while eating Pez candy.

The Lobby / Re: Deli vs. XMPlay

Anyone know what Deli handled that XM doesn't?
I used Deli for years before switching over about a year ago.

PC Players / Re: XMPLAY

Heh, I walked into that famous spelling typo. It's 'cause I used DeliPlay*ER* for too long.

But the good news is that I think XM' has unseated it. Deli was solid enough, but it doesn't export (easily, if at all) to Mp3, and that's my killer process lately.

Also, It's nice to uprade the skin. Deli had a passable black one, but I missed the old WinAmp type skins. Acidian Fire - flare is my new favorite.

In all, a nice start to 2009!

I think I got it this time. I remember though why I didn't like XMplayer last time I tried a couple years ago.

There seems to be a weird effect where if the resolution is set to 24 bit it comes out all scratchy. Setting it back to 16 bit seems to be fine. I also didn't know to look for new skins either.

I didn't do it, but the list didn't look very appropriate. It's not like you need 20 references to show how great we are ;D
I guess you could pick some of them and add the as quotations...
Also, a description of the MOD format doesn't belong in that article.

I admitted as much in my remark that the list format was ugly. I just wanted to respond to the concerns that "no one knew us so they might nuke the article". I was hoping someone would pick the best 5 links and make them into something.

I just threw in the mod text  - no biggie that got moved.

I accomplished what I wanted - I got the page on the map, and it'll settle down shortly enough to be a nice little page.

Someone edited out all my external links. I'm not sure what that means.
