Look what I made! / [Aldrin track] Pelsi (work in progress)
« on: August 03, 2010, 23:05:42 »
As said in the title, it's a work in progress. Will most likely also do some little tweaks to sound quality and other details. But I'd like to hear your opinions on what I have so far.

Anyway. Bouncy stuff. Samples are from Saga Musix and Vipzone.

pelsi.ogg – Ogg Vorbis, 9.4 MB
pelsi.ccm – Aldrin module, 1.1 MB

Note that reverb and delay are from Aldrin's fork Neil, so it might not sound right if you haven't installed those.

PS. Pelsi is a fictional brand of orange juice.
PPS. Sounds even better when slowed down to 200 %.
PPPS. You should listen to it backwards too.

MilkyTracker Tracks & Songs / Chiptune test
« on: May 05, 2009, 19:40:24 »
I've recently been trying to create some chiptune. On Youtube I saw some videos about MilkyTracker being a good software for that so I tried it out and created this. It's my first module made with it.

Please tell me how to improve etc.

I'm looking for this one. It is composed by Purple Motion and can't find it anywhere, even on TMA.

Tracking / "Trackers' Paradise"

Some modules say they have samples from there; does anybody know what happened to it and what it actually was?

Tracking / What's your tracker / format of choice? And why?
« on: July 13, 2008, 00:41:27 »
What is your preferred tracker and format?

My favourite trackers are Schism and Impulse Tracker and favourite format is IT.

Why? They are easier to use and share a more cleaner and intuitive interface than FastTracker. IT is (or that's what I've heard) also the most advanced of the "standard" formats.

It is your turn!

The Lobby / Hello, Greippi here
« on: July 12, 2008, 23:50:18 »
Hi!

I'm a new member here, as you can tell.

I've been using Schism Tracker for a few weeks now, with previous tracker experience with Impulse Tracker and MadTracker. I also used FruityLoops before I switched to Linux.

Well, nothing more to say!
