Tracking / MIDI Importing question
« on: August 05, 2006, 21:51:27 »
i dont' think that iT's only a problem with envelopes. i notice VERY OFTEN taht modplug cuts "normal" notes too short with the == command... so you have to move the == command down...

Tracking / How do YOU track a tune ? (Walkthru?)
« on: July 10, 2006, 22:20:02 »
i think you've to find your own way. in my first tracks, i inserted too much drums (Bass Drum, Snare, hi-Hat, Cymbal AND Ride Cymbal samples playing at the same time :grinno:  :D ), but a year later, my tunes were pretty cool... coz i learned that "too much" isn't always good..

well, you even don't have to enable AGC and i don't recognize any modification of volume when it gets too loud. i think doesn't get too loud because of the internal 32 bit mixing processes - "there's enough space for loud sounds" ;)
