Or maybe something like Milky where you draw a waveform.

I've been thinking about including some synth capabilities, so this might come in a future version. I'm not talking about realtime synthesis though since this wouldn't work with XM. Maybe this would make a nice future "product" to compete with the Korg DS-10 :) Sample drawing will be in 0.5, pretty sure!

Maybe. I'm working on a general effects framework that might also be used for waveform generation. If it works out like I imagine it, it'll be a really cool feature unprecedented in any tracker.

Thats awesome news!

Well I have managed to try DS-10 and its an awesome bit of software, but already I can see it being limiting.  Having a synth in it is probaby the best thing, but its gonna be let down by its sequencing with only a maximum of 16 patterns.  More suited for simple dance music.  I like to create my melodic electropop.

Nitro definitely has more potential!

I agree on dis one.

I also try'd DS10. The thing i did'nt like (or just havent figured out yet) is that you can't save the songs in a way so you can bring it to your computer, you have to record it through a wire. That increases the quality of your songs.

Thanks for drawing my attention to the DS-10, I would sure like to get my hands on that.

Someone at Korg and Nintendo must have noticed how well Nitrotracker has been going down for this to happen i'm sure!

Bet you could do better than DS-10 though eh Tob?  :)

Cheers
