Hi!

The Multichannel recording checkbox on the Config.I/O page doesn't seem to actually do anything. Multichannel recording appears to be always enabled (assuming you have record enabled 2 or more tracks).

The only reason I wrote this silly bug report is that I'm in the process of learning MilkyTracker inside out and I'm trying to figure out what every control and every option on every page does. It's been quite a bit of detective work Sure, it's been fun to figure out what things like "Instr. backtrace" mean, but the documentation is somewhat incomplete.

So anyway, I found this little checkbox and I can't figure out what it's doing, and it kinda bugs me, that's all

that's not correct!. milky's live-mode is quite good and you can jam on your channels pretty fast if you know the shortcuts and how patterns are handeled by the replayer..... i wish the keyboard handling would be a bit smoother though..

btw...:yesterday i found out what the little "w" button is all about... =)

8ch: Yes, I know how live recording in Milky works, though my PC keyboard chops leave a lot to be desired I'm a bit more adept with a real MIDI keyboard, but I don't have one a.t.m. so I mostly step-edit.

It's just that I don't notice any difference in the program's behavior whether the "Multichannel Recording" option is activated or not.

Now that I've done some more experimenting I've found that you can shift+right-click a scope to solo/unsolo recording, similar to right+left-clicking for mutes. Nice easter egg! But this should really be documented...

Just to reiterate once more: I *know* how to do multichannel recording in Milky (Just record-mark a few channels, make sure Follow is on, press space if you're not in edit mode, Ctrl+enter and jam away, there's nothing to it!) 
As I've said a couple of times now, the only thing I don't get here is what actual function is performed by the "Multichannel Recording" option, because I really can't see the difference. Sorry if I'm getting boring now...
