Hello all Nitrotracker users! I am going to be starting a 31 day challenge in which I will make (or try to make) and submit a song every day for the month of July, using only Nitrotracker and any samples that will work in Nitro (recorded and vocal samples included).

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CHALLENGE, PM ME AND I WILL GIVE YOU AN EMAIL TO SEND SUBMISSIONS TO!!!!

If you do participate YOU DON'T HAVE TO SUBMIT A SONG EVERY DAY, JUST TRY TO WORK ON ONE EACH DAY EVEN IF IT TAKES YOU TWO OR THREE DAYS TO MAKE.

IMPORTANT!!!: Submit your songs by 12:00 AM (or midnight for you 24 hour clock people) EST on that day. So for July 1st, you would have all day to work on the song and then you submit it by midnight that night. If you don't submit it in time for me to put it up that day, then I will just put it up the next day around noon EST.

This song's name has a reason behind it. I started it at 2:47 on the third day, and 2X4=8, so that's how the song got its name. Strange, I know, but there's a twisted sort of logic behind it.

I wrote this song after watching drumming videos on YouTube, and subsequently created this song, using only 3 recorded snap samples.

Day 6 and 7 - Still being made and recorded/'mp3 cured'

It takes a while to make and record/fix the XMs, and because I have work, my music making has been fairly backed up. I will make these some time today and possibly have to make three tomorrow then up them then, because I don't have work then. Hopefully...

Luckily, though, I have found a way for Nitro XMs to be fixed to work on computers and other trackers. It involves using computer trackers (namely Milkytracker), but if you want me to 'mp3 cure' your Nitro XMs, just give me a copy, and I will fix it for you.

Okay, as you can tell, I didn't finish all of the songs in July, like I wanted. And so I failed at my own project, but I am still trying to get 31 songs together. They will just be spread over a longer period of time. I sadly only have half of the songs finished (and most are just random ideas thrown together fairly shittily) with 15 songs completed and one more coming (this song being Abram's Pursuit that was promised to be completed a month ago).

Once I've finished all of those songs, I will upload them all. Maybe in a zip, maybe individually, but I will be releasing an EP afterwards of cleaned up and elongated versions of the best songs from the 31. I hope that this will get done before the end of the school year, and that's a fairly narrow release window in itself (for me, at least).

Sorry to disappoint those of you who were looking forward to these songs, and for those of you that don't care, keep on keepin' on!
