Retro computing survey
« on: March 15, 2012, 19:24:49 »

Hello list!

I'm placing this cry for help here without being sure that this is really appropriate. If it this is not the appropriate place, please accept my apologies and feel free to remove this submission. Thank you!

For my thesis I'm doing a small survey about retro computing. I would like to know what the retro computer lovers do currently and what is their motivation for using old hardware and software. The survey can be completed in under 5 minutes and I'll be very grateful for every submission I receive. Any random comments, notes and stories are also very welcome.

The survey can be found on

Thank you very much!

It seems like the survey is for people a little older than me, otherwise I would have completed it. But why the heck do you wanna know my family status??

That's quite common in scientific (and even non-scientific) surveys.

Are you interested in art, mode or design
Are you sure you mean mode and not fashion (English word for German "mode")?

In the FLOSS question, "the community is very niche and friendly". Okay, it's a word, but in other instances within the survey, the wording is "nice and friendly".
