I haven't even updated my website in about 4 years so I don't see much point....

I don't tend to read them either, I'm a BB freak (and I'm not talking about the crappy channel4 program..)

I run a blog, yup, yup. But it's not public, so... I have it to keep track of what I do all days and to put my memories together into a nice chronicle of eagleness.

If it went public, it would probably bore everyone unless you are big "fans" of mine and like to read "juicy" stuff about my ex-girlfriends, breaking up, ranting about new mega cool module releases, complaints about my life, et cetera, et cetera...

Yeah I have one I started weirdly after stumbling upon info about trackers.  I created my own php forums where I store info.  The forum lets me structure info allot more then a chronological blog. I think I will add info about the mod archive, I don't even remember creating an account here, ty for the bulk mail about spending time with your wife m0d, I hope you guys re-bonded after the hideout mashing on the keyboard.

I used to run one for a few months, but i closed it 10 months ago. It was about my drawings painting etc.

I closed it because now i'm in art studies, so i can have all the opinions and advices about my work i was asking for with my blog.

Well, this is interesting - as much as I can tell there is a huge percentage difference. I don't own a blog either, so I registered a 'no', I personally find it hard enough to write news posts for this site, let alone stuff which honestly - other people have no business knowing about!

Thats the thing with blogs, they can be dangerous if you write a personal one about your own life - I mean, have you seen or heard the cases where employers are spying on their current or even potential employees by searching them out by the personal details they provide on application/file? Ya know, you can find anyone registered on MySpace if you know their real name, and dig up the dirt on them there...

...Facebook is another site being targeted by Oxford university staff to find all the students engaged in "illegal" (by their rules) activities by the photos they post up of themselves having a good time... I mean, where do you draw the line between casual insignificant browsing, to purposefully engaging in a reconnaissance activity? -  Sources

No, I would really have an aversion to posting personal info on the net like that... Having said that, not all blogs are for this purpose - there are "techie" blogs, gaming blogs, you name it, but you can only have so many of these before saturation and repetition of exactly the same information... Can't you? So finding something worthwhile to write about, AND make it interesting takes really a heck of a lot of energy, I'd think...
