                   .. . . On Neptune . .. .
                                            (4:08)
                     by bibby / pHluid

Hope this one makes it on the pH comeback disk, cuz you know
                    there ain't no stoppin'!

Anyway, I took the day to teach myself how to use the real
'instruments' instead of plain ol' samples like I'm used to. To my
surprise, I found that my favorite envelope is the pitch envelope! I used
the same drum samples to form two entirely different drumkits, just by
running one through a funky pitch loop. Neat, huh? I ran the bass and the
strings through one, too. It gives the bass a sort of an extra percussive
effect, ...mute everything but that channel and see what I mean, I rather
like it. The pitch change on the strings adds to my picture of space.
I think I'm getting much better at this now. :)
I don't think I've had more fun writing a tune before, plus after I
started the instruments, the rest was SO easy!

Thanks to porus, pinion, dynamix, and nameless others for sams.

It212 's great! I missed note dots!  I prefer the piano NNA to be CON,
but it maxes 52 channels by the end, so for you GUS users, I switched to
FADE, cutting it to 30 chnls max. Non-gussers can switch it back to
Continue if you'd like.  (the last echos reach up to 39chnls, sorry)

somethin' funny about that voc sample by dynamix, to offset the
first part so that it just says ' let's do it', the command would be O69!!
