Overall Impression (7/10)

Mellow song, easy listening. Nice classic build-up, but it never gets going. Maybe that is not necessary with this kind of woolly music, but it is not the kind of music you buy a complete album for, so to speak.

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (3/10)

With a bit better balancing and some creative pattern use this piece could be done in 10 or maybe even 8 channels, instead of the used 14. For example, the simple bassline is in two channels, as is the bassdrum. This could be usefull when using effects like echo or panning, but in the two channels reserved for one sample the same panning is used.

Development (6/10)

The song revolves around sample 6, which is a good sample, but could be shorter because of the created loop. As said, the classic build-up is used, adding one instrument with every channel. The song is well balanced: no single sample is outcrying the rest.

Creativity (6/10)

There is quite some music in the composition, that has to be said, but it is too mellow for my taste. I would have liked to see some courage, some danger, but the song always stays on the safe side.
The listener wants to be shaken around. The listener wants to feel some emotion. The listener wants to fall of his chair instead of fall asleep!

Enjoyment (7/10)

As a mellow, fluffy piece of music: it works. As a piece of real music it should be more exiting.
The song is not spunky enough!
(But those who suffer from insomnia should give it a chance.)
