JUST | from the album ANOTHER | To Jupiter and Back (2012) SPACE | A Kebu Chiptune Reimagining ODYSSEY | of a Timeless Modern Classic Author | JWPH Genre | Chip-pop/Electronica Time | 05:14 Started | 12/27/2022 Finished | 03/20/2023 Updated | 03/26/2023 Samples | 17 This one stemmed from a simple yet ingenious thought I had last year, about how would this track from Kebu's first studio album "To Jupiter and Back" would have sounded like if it was composed for soundchips such as the Ricoh 2A03, Konami VRC6, or even the Dirtywave M8's wavetable one; this was the result of many hours, many months of dragging along the pro- duction and fixing all throughout all of this, including trimming and picking out the best single-cycle samples that sound uncommon yet quite doable to my ears. For this, aside from the VRC6-inspired waveforms from covers past, I also included a pack of folded sine, sampled from the sine out of BogAudio's Sine Osc. module, squeezed in through AS's Folder, in varying fold levels, from none at all, to around four (4) times. I hope this chip-electro take of mine does the original some justice, even through the limitations I encountered after that inital spike at the very start. -JWPH
