This is a short, very nice little song. It begins with some atmospheric rain effects and some low strings before the guitar kicks in. It's a slow, mellow song. The flute that kicks in a bit later on sounds odd, but it still works, given the context. I like the guitars, which I believe are the Washburn guitar samples made famous in Leviathan's "Emerald Visions." The ending of the song seemed a little abrupt to me, for some reason - it left me hanging. I could see that as being the desired effect, however. This is a nice song, not the most earth shattering thing in the world, but it's recommendable. Technically, it's very well done. The author uses stereo panning to its optimal extent, providing great directionality of the samples without the panning becoming a distraction. I like how the rain ambience sounded with the stereo effects used - it had a very envoloping feel to it. Author used volume and panning envelopes to his advantage, varied the volume appropriately for the samples, and was able to dictate the pace of how the whole thing went effectively. Everything seemed under control.
