I'd call this song a mix between the relaxing effect of Basehead's S.O.N. series and the alternative style of Dune. I didn't plan it to be that way, though... It just turned out to be like that... :) There's no real lead or solo in this piece, so perhaps it would be best to play this in the background while doing something... ___________________________ "Thousands of waves pass by us in a matter of seconds. A nice underwater mood to this piece. As Discus says, it probably makes a better background listen due to its ambient nature, but if you're in the mood for something relaxing, it's great. The variations are extremely subtle, with a sound effect here and there every few bars while the overall feel is maintained. A decent, mellow tune. A couple of the samples are a bit distorted, which worked fine when they were in the background, but not so well when they were played louder. The use of sound effects to establish the mood is very good, with some great creaks/hisses/etc to suggest some kind of underwater journey. The balance is good, though it's easier to balance a piece with no melody!
