Nicely done- I’ve listened to this 4ch Amiga version of "Crockett’s Theme," and it really does sound incredibly realistic for Amiga! I appreciate the quality and precision of these highquality samples. You've earned some good ratings, so I recommend others give it a listen too. Great results with OctaMED and TheMaestrix AHI.You’re showing that the Amiga still has potential!

Thank you so much! That means a lot. I did all my best to make this track as great as possible, and this should prove that the Amiga has the potential of doing it better, so it did. Thanks again :)

Help Support Topics Archive / AlwaysTogetherTuned still not approved
« on: September 04, 2023, 23:28:37 »
Hi there. My name is Helge Kvalheim aka HKvalhe from Norway owning an AmigaOne X5000/20, running latest AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition Update 2 and Enhancer 2.2.

I was uploading an improved version of my Always Together Amiga track, dubbed AlwaysTogetherTuned several weeks ago, but it has still not been approved yet! Both Aminet and YouTube got my improved Always Together track several weeks ago.

What's going on? This is not how it should be. Always Together was done to honor my 3 dead brothers, whom died the years 1997, 1998 and 1999. The improved version AlwaysTogetherTuned is the version that should be focused on.

I expect this improved version to be approved anytime soon. Taken too long already.

Thank you kindly

Best regards
Helge Kvalheim aka HKvalhe from Norway

Great work! Happy to see people still do music on the Amiga. So do I, now on my new AmigaOne X5000 running the NSM patched version of OctaMED SoundStudio v1.03c with latest PPC version of TheMaestrix AHI tool. It's a pity too many are not bothering either rating or commenting music on this site anymore. I hope that can change, though.

Still, keep up the excellent work :)

Best regards

I'm happy to tell that my 8-channel Blues Jazz Amiga MED track called "Lady In Blue" has now been uploaded to The MOD Archive here. It's also available at Aminet. There's not so many high quality Blues Jazz mods done with the Amiga, and this one is on a professional level. Composed by me - Helge Kvalheim aka HKvalhe from Norway, hard of hearing, using my AmigaOne 500 aka SAM460ex, running the NSM patched version of OctaMED SoundStudio v1.03c, with latest PPC native TheMaestrix AHI tool and high quality stereo samples from Walkabout Music Samples Collection. Another contribution of mine for the Amiga Art 2023 contest going these days to end of October.

Thank you all for your support. I would appreciate it if you rated my music, but it's up to you. The rating doesn't really prove anything. It's just a way to be polite and to show support. Nothing more than that. Thank you for understanding.

Best regards

I have now relaunched a greatly improved and clean 4ch Amiga version of the
famous Jan Hammer HIT - Crockett's Theme 4ch Amiga 2023 version. Currently the most realistic Amiga version ever done of Crockett's Theme! Composed by me - Helge Kvalheim aka HKvalhe from Norway, hard of hearing, using my AmigaOne 500 aka SAM460ex, running the NSM patched version of OctaMED SoundStudio v1.03c, with latest PPC native TheMaestrix AHI tool and high quality stereo samples. Would appreciate it if you gave my music collection some great ratings, for those tracks you actually like to hear. A lot of hard work has been put into all of them and many of them are really good! Enjoy and thank you all for your support.

On YouTube, this track got 11 thumbs up in only 2 days! The track is undoubtly great!

Hi people! Long time since! Been extremely busy to rework the 4ch Amiga version of
all 13 tracks + a BONUS track, for the Amiga version of the game Last Ninja 2.

The reason I have chosen to completely rework and improve those 13 songs as much as possible for the Amiga version, is that the original Amiga convertion was done from the Atari version and the result was a noisy, unclean and poor Amiga music of those nostalgic tracks that generally play at their best from the C64 version, done by Matt Gray for the C64 version. I tried many times, first time in 2018 and failed, because in 2018, I barely got used to compose music with OctaMED SoundStudio v1.03c on Amiga.

Now in 2023, I have successfully managed to improve several of these tracks to be far better than their original Amiga form! You can find my 13 tracks + the BONUS track from this link down here:

https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_artist_modules&query=94457

All the 4ch reworked Amiga version is composed by me - Helge Kvalheim aka HKvalhe from Norway, hard of hearing, using my AmigaOne 500 aka SAM460ex, running the NSM patched version of OctaMED SoundStudio v1.03c in Mix mode, using the latest PPC native TheMaestrix AHI tool and high quality stereo samples. Enjoy and thank you all for your support.

The BONUS add - The main Final Battle Remix, based on a remix by Reyn Ouwerhand from the C64 version of Last Ninja 2 Remix, is to be further improved as you read this.

Hope you'll enjoy these tracks and please rate them as you want. It would mean a lot to me.

Best regards
Helge Kvalheim (HKvalhe)

Look what I made! / My Last Ninja 4 Amiga music popular on YouTube
« on: August 19, 2022, 00:51:49 »
Hi there, folks! Sorry for have been silent during the summer. Firstly, I and my family had to move into a new home my brother and I bought recently. Been living in the new house for 3 months now and all going well so far. Now to the topic.

I have spent a lot of time doing the fictional Last Ninja 4 Amiga music, dubbed LN4. On my HKvalhe channel at YouTube, my LN4 Amiga music has become popular. I plan to release a packed MOD collection of the first 6 Amiga tracks for the Phillipines levels
of the fictional LN4 game, and the other 7 Amiga tracks for the Brisbane levels when they are completed. I'm using the NSM patched version of OctaMED SoundStudio v1.03c with the PPC native version of TheMaestrix AHI tool for my AmigaOS4 system, that is AmigaOne 500 aka SAM460ex. Soon to move over to my new AmigaOne X5000!

Firstly, I have reworked both LN4 Lv1 and Lv2 tracks. Lv3 remains the same, being very atmospheric. Lv4 and Lv5 been released as well, all of them on YouTube.

https://youtube.com/HKvalhe

Especially the LN4 Intro, Lv4 and Lv5, have gotten great feedback and ratings.

Just wanted you to know, if you're interesting. The Cover pantings done by myself as well, with the PPC native version of Personal Paint 7.3c.

Take care

Best regards
HKvalhe
