How do I upload?

Log into our account and locate the Upload link on the main menu. You can also access it from here, although you will need to be logged in.

Do I have to be an artist to upload?

You can upload modules without holding an artist account - we allow this because many people find public domain modules which are worth archiving.

How do I get an artist account?

If you are an artist and you wish to manage your own modules, you can do so with a regular account. The only step required to turn on the artist management features is uploading a new module (of your own). It is then possible to retrofit orphaned modules to your account once the artist area is enabled. If you do not have any new modules to upload, you need to get in touch with us via the forums.

Note to artists: Please PLEASE prefix your files with your artist name! It helps us help you in the long run. The accepted format is: artist_name_-_module_filename.format

What happens after I upload a module?

Your module is placed into the screening queue, which is a reviewing system in place to assist with keeping only the best quality material on the archive. If you want to learn more about this process, proceed to the screening FAQ

I've just uploaded a module and I cannot find it. Where is it?

It will be sitting in the screening queue pending review.

Is it possible to upload a pack of modules?

Yes, the upload system accepts ZIP archives. Make sure your zip archive isn't bigger than the maximum allowed (see the upload rules, else the upload process may fail.

Do you check for duplicates?

Yes. The upload does do a couple of checks, however it is always possible for a module that sounds the same to have a different checksum, so occasionally these sorts of duplicates can only be detected by humans, and that is sometimes a matter of hit and miss.

Do you remove duplicates that are already on the archive?

Yes. If you find a duplicate, you can report it via our Feedback forum, where you will find a sticky topic which has all the details of the information you need to provide us when you make a report on that thread.
