I'm not sure if that hand right to a new comment means average score or poster's score. if it's the latter, it will not be updated if you change your original rating (e.g. Inferiority Complex should be 10 instead of 9).

If you write a comment and forget to leave a score, the "continue" link does not work and therefore, the comment is lost...

I really like the 2nd tune from this demo: http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=49121
However, ProWizard is unable to dump it in WinUAE and i can't find it on any popular archive either.
Does anybody know it?
Excerpt from the tune: [link removed]

EDIT: Tune is now available at modarchive :)

Feedback & Suggestions / [closed] Some suggestions...

Here are two things that came to my mind that you could program if you like to and if it's possible (since they may be quite resource-demanding):

  • "Coup de coeur": Members are able to mark modules they really like, this may be visible to others (like at pouet) or not (like at nectarine)
  • Inform about new modules by author x: People can "subscribe" to an author, like at youtube

Help me find that... / Lost a tune?
« on: January 06, 2008, 15:45:49 »
So you lost a tune and can't find it? If you have
some information about it, you may still be able to find it. This is how I proceed in general:

1. Have a look here at the modarchive. Search for "guessed artists", the song name and the filename. You know there was a special sample in the module and you remember the instrument's / sample's name? You can also search for sample and instrument names as well as .IT comments. Furthermore, it is possible to filter modules by file size, mod type and many other criterias.

2. If you have not found anything, proceed with the same actions on the following scene sites:
  • AMP - Mostly Amiga modules, but also a lot of XM files.
  • modules.pl - Here you may have luck and find a few rare modules!
  • ModLand - One of the biggest module archives online. Thanks to exotica, there's a search frontend as well.
3. If you still have not found anything, some deeper (and more time-consuming) investigation may be neccesary:
  • Have a look at scene.org - Search for artist names and track titles here aswell. Be prepared to find more than you expect since scene.org also hosts demos, grafix and similar stuff.
Since scene.org is an archive especially dedicated to the demoscene, you will most likely find demotunes or tunes by authors who wrote music for a lot of demos here.

I hope that these steps will help you finding your lost modules! :)[/list]

I think it would be quite handy to have a small search box on every artist's profile that allows to search tunes only made by this author. yes i know, this is already possible, but i think it would be very useful to have it below the artist's tunes list aswell. The search should link to the "normal search", but only list tunes by this particular artist.
