Tracking / Tracks with Modplug Macros suitable for TMA?

As for resonance and frequency cutoff and such macros, they are ModPlug only, too and for the same reason unrecommended.

You are wrong here. Resonance, Cutoff AND macros were introduced in Impulse Tracker ;)

Tracking / Tracks with Modplug Macros suitable for TMA?

don't hesitate to upload them. i uploaded even modules that require VSTs. i know that many ppl won't like it, but i don't care. firstly, i gave a hint to my VST tutorial on my artist page, then included the link in the brand-new song comment function and last but not least, there's a hint in the module file itself. and btw, the only players that you should support are IMHO modplug and xmplay only. who cares about Impulse Tracker, OmniPlayer, the PB routines and so on today? people mostly still have them but only beacuse of nostalgia. and as far as i know, xmplay supports IT macros.

but this is only my opinion.

well, this module sounsd a bit chaotic. plus, it's very short. You should not spend only 20 mins on a module, but at least an hour, i guess. You could include different melodies then. In this case, you have this melody that repeats for the whole time (which isn't much), some drums and some chords.  Ever thought of a bassline? :) I didn't include one in my very first attempts aswell.
Conclusion: You have to spend a bit more time on your module ;) It could be a nice one if it was longer and included all the other stuff I mentioned ;)
So if I wrote a review, I would have given this maybe 3 points, but not more.

Tracking / Time Spent on Modules
« on: May 05, 2007, 12:57:50 »
When I'm composing, it often takes an hour or two per day, mostly after school. Optimizing the tunes takes another 2 hours (maybe :D), so I often spend many hours on one module.

Here's my latest track, I appreciate any feedback :)

For listening purpose, I recommend the mp3 version. If you want to listen to the IT version, please follow these rules:
1) Use OpenMPT - get the latest version
2) Get the VST Plugins

have fun ;)
