Tracking / Re: Trackers for Android
« on: November 19, 2017, 22:02:00 »
I don't know if using a touchscreen really defeats the purpose of a tracker, but unfortunately, the majority of phones nowadays lack a keyboard or a keypad, and I am sure that all keyboard/keypad phones will be discontinued sometime in the not-so-distant future.
You can buy a laptop, but they're often bulky. Even the thin ones are still not the ideal size for something to carry on a small purse.
Of course, maybe a tracker isn't good to use anyway, but some people are more used to the tracker format than things like music sheets, so it's harder to just write down musical ideas on paper.

Sounds awesome. I've noticed that this is a remix of the Pendulum song "The Island", and while I haven't heard of the original song, this dance remix sounds pretty good.
I just think that the lead instrument and the vocals need to have a little bit more focus in terms of volume than the chords, at least when there's some more action going on in the song, which I am sure it's hard to do if you have 32 channels.

The whole remix, though, is definitely something I'd download the XM to and listen on my phone during a train ride. A lot. :)

The Lobby / Re: Methods of inverting samples

If you have OpenMPT, you can literally just click "Invert Phase".

We should also do the blues scales, and the microtonic neutral scale(with fine portamentos emulating microtones).

In my opinion the chords sound off-key, though they may just not be tuned properly. I can also barely hear anything over the chords.

If by Scandinavian, I don't know if you mean someone named "Scandinavian" or someone from Scandinavia. I couldn't find any modules by anyone named "Scandinavian" and suggesting it's Scandinavian just because it's melancholy didn't help. Thanks for helping me, though. Now I know I'm looking for a .MOD.

I can't find what the background music to this video(warning: controversial) is.
There's no credits in the video or the description at all.
I asked in the comments, but no one answered.
It sounds like the background music could be some MOD or XM, which is why I came here.
Here are the small parts of the video where there are no voices or sound effects so you can get an idea of what it might be:
I can't even guess who made this as it's style is used by different people.

I made a new MMR song. It's Gameboy style.

MMR stands for "My Magical Rabbit".
