A little bit of inactivity doesn't always point towards any kind of demise or disaster. It's more likely, that people are just too busy with themselves and are spending their time doing something else, rather than showing up at OpenMPT space

Does anyone know what's going on at openmpt.org? No one has posted on the openmpt forum in 2 days and no one has been active on the openmpt github in 3 days. OpenMPT 1.31.07.00 was just released on the 12 of May https://openmpt.org/openmpt-1-31-07-00-released, so hopefully this inactivity is just the result of people spending time making music with the new version.

FINALLY, SOMEONE ON THE MODARCHIVE SERVER FOUND IT!

it's outrun_europa_oritaly.mod, which you can find here: https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=107682!

for some reason it has those B00's at the first 3 patterns, so you have to remove them to listen

Hi,

I couldn't find anything already in the forum on this; apologies if duplicating.

- MacbookPro 14" M3Max running OS Sonoma 14.4
- Downloaded Milkytracker Darwin ARM version
- Mac refuses to run it "This file is damaged. Move it to the bin."

Is there a version that works, or any way to convince my Mac to try and run it?

Cheers.

Three duplicates!
https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=40523
https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=106737
https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=41592
All identical apart from filename. Second link has the correct filename after checking other archives (modland, AMP).

Hello

I'm working on a version of the 1986 MSX game Knightmare, totally rewritten in MMBasic (https://github.com/leonicolas/knightmare-cmm2). I have a big challenge converting the game's VGM music to MOD, the format supported by the MMBasic interpreter. I can easily open the VGM  file on FamiStudio and use the notes as a reference to create the MOD  file on the OpenMPT software. The problem is that I'm terrible at creating songs. I can't make it sound nice.

Is anyone here interested in helping make the game songs? They are very short, and there are only a few. You can listen to two versions of the songs (PSG and SCC chips) on this website: https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/knightmare-msx. I can upload the VGM files if someone is interested in the project. I will add credits to the person on the game title screen, and you can use your creativity (and skills  :-\) to improve the songs.

Here you can watch some videos of the game stages: https://www.youtube.com/@GoToRetroGaming

https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=206647
is a duplicate of
https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=197481

The first one has three additional vocal samples that play, so probably keep that one. They're otherwise identical.
