Recently, Modarchive has been experiencing major slowdowns. The frequency of this happening was not that big in the beginning, but now it reached to am almost daily thing now. At first we thought it was just a DDoS, but now it's apparent, that TMA is being targeted by AI scrapers.

So far, We've tried a number of solutions which proved to be ineffective. We're trying our best to fight this problem. I am very sorry for the inconvenience this brought over the past months.

Modarchive is constantly being targeted by AI scrapers, which slow down the site immensely. We've tried some solutions, but so far, It's not helping. We're trying to come up with a better odea to stop this

I experience outages when trying to reach the website since several days now.
The page does not load or only very slowly, and when it does occasionally, the "if this problem persists for more than 10 minutes, run around with your hair on fire" message appears.
Anyone else experiencing this? I am connecting from Germany btw.
I tried several different browsers and even computers.

That will be nice. I have been listening to Amiga mods off and on since the late 80s - early 90s. I first discovered them before the Internet existed, on local BBS's in my area, that I had to connect my desktop computer to with a modem. I'm not an Amiga Mod music composer, I just listen to them occasionally.

Modarchive is on it's way to version 5, which is under development. It's not as fast as you might imagine, because it is currently being developed by one person, but I can hope the new look will be satisfactory

Hello I just rejoined The Mod Archive forum. I'm just wondering why not give this website a facelift, not just the forum, the whole website. It looks like army fatigues, why not brighten it up with some brighter colours, it looks like a military website from the 90s or something, which is very depressing to look at. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just being honest.

Juanp32 I hope you are doing better. Don't isolate yourself! That is not a good idea if you are dealing with depression and anxiety or something like that. Reach out to people, find someone to talk to about what your going through.

Which other CDs specifically? Tracked Worx are not sample CDs, in case you mean those. You can find them here: https://archive.org/search?query=creator%3A%22Matthias+MAZ+Ziegs+and+contributors%22
